The Prettyman Family

Liz, Tyler, Ethan, Jacob and I went to Sundance to get some fun pictures. Liz and Tyler are so cute with their little boy. They are always making him laugh and smile. He is such an adorable kid. These guys are such a fun family.

Aaron and Shonee

We (my husband and I) did a photoshoot awhile ago with our friends Aaron and Shonee, and I am just now posting it... We had dinner together, and then we went out to do their pictures. It had been threatning to rain all day, and we were lucky to miss it. It was getting dark as we were shooting and we didn't have any off camera lights. I think we thought we would be done sooner, but I don't remember... Anyway... We always have fun with these guys, it is good to be around other couples.

The Griffin Family

I planned a session with this sweet family, and it was raining when we all arrived... We did a quick session - about 10-15 minutes tops. We were able to get some under a little overhead pavillion type thing, and then the rain let up for a couple minutes and we got some out of the overhead thing.

My Photoshoot

K, I haven't had my picture taken for about a year or more. I used to all the time, but the more into photography I get, the less I seem to end up in front of the camera. I decided it was time to get out there again. I got a new lens the other day, and I decided to let my husband Jacob be the first one to try it out. We went to my hometown over the weekend to see a friend who just got home from her mission. I think there are so many perfect places for pictures in that town. Anyway... I was a bit nervous, but I think it went okay. I think next time I will try smiling a bit more though... My husband did a wonderful job. Anywhooo.... I guess that is enough mumbling already...

My take at art

I was just playing around and thought that these particular pictures looked really cool all blurred out. I think it makes them look artistic.

Carlene's Bridals

We had planned to go to a certain location for Carlene's bridals, but it rained the whole day practically! I was kinda disappointed at first, but then we started the session, and I was really excited! We got some really fun shots, and I was glad to try a new location. We took quite a variety of different shots. My husband came along as well. We had a lot of fun with Carlene and her friend. We even managed to get some outside shots when the rain calmed down. I even got to play with some simple off camera lighting.

Savannah and Kevin

Savannah and Kevin got married on September 22nd. They were planning on getting married in the Payson park, but it was windy and raining pretty badly. They ended up having their wedding and reception at the Clarion Manor. I was glad I had the opportunity to shoot the wedding with this family. They were all wonderful people. I wish we could have taken more photos outside, but it still turned out pretty nicely. It was very elegant, but Savannah threw in some fun elements like her nails.
